Leslie Altman

Welcome to Room 12!

Hi!  I am Mrs. Leslie Altman.  I am blessed to be part of the Sequoia Family.  This is my seventh year teaching 1st grade here at Sequoia, and my 20th year teaching.  I have taught all the elementary grades, and have been a Reading Intervention teacher.  I believe in hands-on learning.  Room 12 welcomes parents to help in our class.  I live near Sequoia in Pleasant Hill with my husband Phil and our two daughters, ages 11 and 15.  In my free time, I enjoy knitting and urban gardening in my yard complete with chickens.  I hope to inspire all students to have a life-long love of learning. Welcome to Room 12!!!!
